BRAZILIAN PERCUSSION WORKSHOPS

Brazilian music has some of the greatest rhythms in the world and a huge variety of percussion instruments and drumming styles.

Some of these styles have had a big influence on popular music worldwide. Our two-hour workshops cover a variety of different Brazilian drumming styles as well as some traditional dancing and singing.

London School of Music provides Brazilian percussion workshops for companies and their employees, schools and community centres. These workshops are a great opportunity for team building. Apart from learning a new skill as a group, our workshop participants enjoy a fun and unique experience.

Brazilian drumming involves a variety of percussion instruments and workshop participants learn to play each of them: surdo, ago-go, caixa, triangle and tambourine, amongst others. Through interactive playing participants learn how combining these different instruments and rhythms creates an exciting music experience.

Our Brazilian percussion workshops are led by London School of Music director Michael Benöhr. For bookings please contact info@londonschoolofmusic.co.uk or call us on 020 7971 1196.
